Robert Vickers, M.D.

Robert Vickers received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Dr Vickers completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University, School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a native of Mobile and previously worked in the emergency room and as a professor for the University of Alabama, School of Medicine at Tuscaloosa. He is married and has three children.

Parath Knight, MSN, FNP-C

Parath Knight grew up in Irvington Alabama, and graduated from Alma Bryant High School in 2011. She is a graduate from University of South Alabama where she received her masters degree in nursing. Parath brings 10+ years of nursing experience while working in the Emergency Department at USA University Hospital, including her services in the COVID ICU during the pandemic. Before joining SAFC, Parath worked at USA Freestanding Emergency Department. She is board-certified in Family Practice (FNP-C) and also holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) , Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). Additionally, she is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Andrew Rockwell, FNP-C

Andrew Rockwell, born in Athens, Alabama, attended UAB where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013. After graduation he spent several years working in the Trauma/Burn ICU at UAB. He moved to Mobile in 2016 with his wife for her to complete graduate school. Andrew went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from Walden University, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Before coming to SAFC, he worked at USA University Hospital with their internal medicine group for 3 years. He is board certified in Family Practice FNP-C. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Andrew currently resides in Saraland with his wife, Devan, and their two boys and two dogs. In his spare time he loves to duck hunt with his black lab Rose, fish and play golf.



Jordan Rose, P.A.

Jordan has been dedicated to the healthcare field since 2018. A proud Mobile local and McGill-Toolen alumna, she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Alabama. She began her career as a Clinical Registered Dietitian and fitness instructor before pursuing her passion for medicine by attending Physician Assistant school. Jordan graduated from the University of South Alabama’s PA program and has spent the past two years practicing in Urgent Care. In 2024, she was honored with the Nappie Award for “Best PA.” Outside the clinic, Jordan and her husband, Nick, enjoy traveling, kayaking, and spending time with friends. Their greatest joy, however, is making memories with their daughter, Sophia.

Colten Lander, N.P.

Colten Lander is a certified nurse practitioner who was born and raised in Pascagoula, MS. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2011. After graduation he spent several years working at the trauma center in the emergency department at USA Health along with several years as a flight nurse on LifeFlight. Colten went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama for family and acute care nurse practitioner. After becoming a nurse practitioner, he worked as a hospitalist for Infirmary Health and currently works full time in the Emergency Department there. He currently resides in Mobile, Al with his wife and two daughters. He is excited to have the chance to service the grand bay area and to treat those in need at the South Alabama Family Clinic.

Tiffany Franklin, N.P.

Tiffany Franklin is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a nurse in an emergency department for several years. She is a native of Biloxi, Mississippi and currently resides in Mobile, Alabama with her husband and two children.



Jessica Sheldon, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C

Jessica Sheldon was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She attended Faith Academy and graduated in 2004. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2008. Over the next 9 years, Jessica worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Mobile Infirmary, the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Bronchoscopy lab. She also worked at the University Health Trauma Center in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit for 3 years. In 2018, Jessica went to graduate school at Troy University to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she started working full time in the Emergency Department. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine (ENP-Q and Family Practice (FNP-Q. She is excited to work at the South Alabama Family Clinic and dedicated to helping the community. She resides in West Mobile with her husband and three children.

L. Sean Stokes, NP-C, Managing Partner

Sean Stokes was born in Pascagoula, MS and raised in Grand Bay, Alabama. He attended Castlen Elementary, Grand Bay Middle, and graduated from Mobile County High School in 1990. He attended the University of Mobile and the University of South Alabama. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Registered Nurse in the Neuro-trauma ICU and Cardiothoracic Surgery and Recovery. After completing his Graduate Studies in Family Practice in 1997, he managed and practiced in Rural Medicine in Covington County, Alabama. He returned to Mobile in 2000 and has practiced managing Adolescent and Adult patients. He focuses on primary prevention and chronic disease management to include obesity, weight management, men's health to include hormone replacement therapy, hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular health. He is currently taking new patients for men's health only.

Blake Stokes, FNP-C

Blake Stokes, born and raised in Grand Bay, Alabama, graduated from Alma Bryant High School in 2010 and attended Troy University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. After graduation he spent several years working as a Neuro Intensive Care Unit nurse where he was a member of the Neuro Response/Stroke Code Team. While there he received multiple nominations, including the Helen Davis Award. Blake went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing in 2018 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Before joining the SAMC family, Blake utilized his Nurse Practitioner degree by working in occupational medicine for several years and most recently as a Neuro-Intensivist at USA Health. He is board certified in Family Practice (FNP-C), a DOT Certified Medical Examiner and certified in ACLS/BLS. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and American Association of Men in Nursing (AAMN). Blake currently resides in Grand Bay with his wife and two daughters. He is thrilled to be practicing in his hometown and is currently accepting new patients.
